  No, our group trips are designed for shared accommodation and do not involve a single supplement. Single travellers joining group trips are paired in twin or multi-share accommodation with someone of the same sex for the duration of the trip.

  The modes of transportation include plane, private vehicle, public bus, and walking.

• Are local flights included in the cost of the trip?

  Yes, all local flights are included in the cost of your tour unless otherwise noted. It is important that we have your passport information at the time of booking to process these tickets.

• Are international flights included in this trip?

  No, international flights are generally not included in the price of your tour. You should contact your airline for the most up-to-date information regarding check-in times and baggage allowances/restrictions.

  Yes, it is customary in Latin America to tip service providers such as waiters, at approximately 10%. Recommendations for tipping drivers and local guides range from $5-10 USD per day. For your CEO, a guideline of $40-50 USD per person per week is suggested.

• What are the safety and security considerations for this trip?

  We recommend checking your government's travel advice and using a neck wallet or money belt for valuables. Leave valuable jewelry at home and use hotel safety deposit boxes. While cities are generally safe during the day, it is recommended to stay in small groups and take taxis at night. Participation in water-based activities should only be done with a guide. Illegal drugs and exploitation in the sex trade are strictly prohibited.

• What should I know about currency and emergency funds?

  You should have access to at least an additional USD $200 (or equivalent) as an emergency fund. Credit and debit cards are useful but may not work everywhere, so a combination of COP Colombian Pesos, travellers cheques, and cards is best. Bring notes in good condition and denominations lower than 100 USD for easier exchange.

  Yes, travel insurance is compulsory. You must have a minimum coverage of USD 200,000 for medical expenses, including emergency evacuation and repatriation.
